Welcome to Alameda Community Acupuncture!
Our Philosophy and Community Model
The body has the ability to heal itself. Very often, our physical or emotional symptoms are ways our bodies try to nudge us to pay attention. Our body-mind-spirit is an interconnected whole. In our healing sessions, we help your body-mind-spirit to realign and dissolve blockages so your body can wake up to its natural healing power.
Health and wellness cultivation is often a gradual, non-linear process and it can feel much easier and doable when you have the right supportive environment. At ACA, we support people in their commitment to building a strong foundation of health and wellness over time, lessening the need for more expensive and invasive procedures later.
Our belief is that individual health is also intertwined with that of our community's. When we take time to care for our mind-body-spirit, this healing energy has a positive ripple effect in our community too.
The group setting in the semi-private community sessions is our way to offer acupuncture and cupping at an affordable rate to more people in our community.
In this setting, families and friends can receive treatments together. We are often told by our patients that the collective healing field in our healing space amplifies the power of each individual's treatment.
(If you need more 1:1 support in your healing journey, you can also reach to Donna for private sessions.)
As a community business, we rely on the support of our wonderful community to continue to keep our sliding scale affordable so we can acupuncture accessible to more people. One great way to help us with our mission is to tell your friends about us and help us spread the word. Together, we can create a healthier community.
